So I have created my first wiki and digital storytelling. To be honest, I know that it could be better and I look forward to any constructive feedback that you may have. Also, if you have any tips or tricks up your sleves, I hope you would share them with me.
Thanks Always,
Sandra K.

I really enjoyed your digital story "A Day in the Garden." I love your template and design. Your fonts are large and your pictures are vivid. Your students will love your example.
ReplyDeleteI took mine a different direction. I made a shell template and gave them a narrated tour of expectations. In looking at yours I may need to go back and create a full presentation as well to show my students a finished product. One thing you may want to consider adding is a rubric. I created one from Rubristar. It was easy to set up and very quick.
I really liked your page and story. I found I had some basic formatting issues that you have seemed to overcome.
Thank you for a great example for your students. I enjoyed viewing your page.
Sincerely,

Sandra,
ReplyDeleteFirst of all I really like your wiki's template (if it is a template?) It's very aesthetically appealing.
Like Scott above me mentioned, your pictures are so large and inviting! They make me feel
more engaged than they would have been if they were smaller.
Additionally, I love the repetitive element of your example story "if you look closely". Maybe you can include that in your requirements? Play on the tool of repetition. Or maybe just encourage your students to come up with their own phrase to repeat throughout their story? Just an idea.
Finally, one of your links is slightly smaller than the others. Is there are particular reason for this? Because I found myself drawn to it due to the difference in size. It is a quite an important link, so that would make sense. Again, I was just curious =)
Overall it's looking great! I can't wait to see how it turns out in the end!
